not java enabled

ive just got a new notebook with the latest explorer 6..but it is not java
enabled..scrolling throught the settings it dosnt appear to have an option to
enabled java anywhere?

Microsoft no longer provides MSJVM (MS version of Java)

Go to http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp for
Java Runtime Environment Version 5.0 (Update 6)

You need to download and run a typical install of the most recent version of JAVA from:
http://www.java.com/en/
Be sure to uncheck the option to bring along / install that stupid junk Google toolbar,
unless you like the stupid junk Google toolbar.
