not checking RM on start

Is there a setting that would make XP not check the ram when
a) it returns from hibernation
b) it boots up

Hi Jeff,

No, because if the ram is not working then the system would just fall over
anyways. If you have a delayed boot due to ram check you might examine the
system BIOS for a quick boot option.

That's what I was looking for. Have 2 G of ram and I think it may be part
of the delay before the PC asks me for my password.
