I'm new to windows mail and I do not quite understand how I set up an
account. I'm trying to send a message to someone, but can't because I don't
know what my ISP is or what name I am suppose to use.

Please help me!

Your ISP is whoever you get your internet connection from. Most people
choose their internet provider as their email provider since most internet
accounts include one or more email accounts. The setup details depend
on which email provider(s) you are going to use, so you should ask your
email provider(s) for that information, or at least tell us who you want as
an email provider.

If you want yahoo.com to be an email provider for you, you have to either
pay extra or install YPOPs.

The yahoo.com instructions were written for Outlook Express, but should
also work under Windows Mail.

You are posting from a Charter connection, so that is probably your ISP.
If so, Charter should have given you a (e-mail address removed) email address.
You can use that Charter email address in Windows Mail by following Charter's
setup instructions:

If you would rather just use your Yahoo address via webmail, we can help
you with that; just let us know.
