Dear Sir:

I have a laptop, DELL Lattitude D600, purchased through my
company: Farmers Insurance, delivered 01-11-04.

I have not actived the Microsoft Words, Excell and Power
Point progran until toat, 02-06-04.

To active the program, it require me to type in the 25
digits Product Key. I found those number on the back of
my laptop, I typed them exactly as the one on the back,
but the computer will not accept it.

What's wrong with that?

How can I active my softward in my computer>

The numbers on the back of your laptop are the Product Key
for Windows XP, not any other Microsoft product. You'll
need to find the original CD sleeve for the other Microsoft
programs and use the appropriate Product Key. If you can't
find the sleeve, then you'll have to contact Dell support for
further assistance.

The number behind your computer is the product key for the windows xp
operating system.
You should hv CD that came with this Laptop and one of the CD is sealed
which should say
Microsoft Office Edition and it should hv 25 character which you need to
enter to activate your
office.

Chances are the back of your laptop has your Windows Serial #, not your office serial #. In all reality you don't really need to activate office :P It works fine without it.

edg, you post is incorrect.

Failure to activate Microsoft Office eventually results in loss of
functionality of the Office suite.

Incorrect :P My copy is legal :)

Then you are not using Office 2003 or you are using a Volume Licensed copy
which either your company purchased or is supplied to you under the home use
scheme by your employer.

For clarification - which version of Microsoft Office are you using and how
was it supplied/purchased
