Why can't I edit Notes in Outlook 2002? Sometimes, though not at all times (it seems intermittent) when I click on a note in the index of Notes, thereby opening it, and edit the text, then click the "X" to save it, it does not change anything - the text remains the same in the index (the view list of notes) just as though I had not edited it. I can find nothing on this problem anywhere. Is this just an intermittent, and unfortunate, "glitch" which will disappear at a later time? When this happens, its not as to just one note, but rather the problem applies to all notes in the index. It sure is frustrating!

You have to change focus AWAY from the note shown in the Preview pane and then switch back. Open the edit window for the note, change it, close it, and then move the highlight to a different note and then back again. It's a refresh problem.

Thank you, Vanguard, for your responese. However, your suggestion did not cure the problem. The text of a Note, as it appears in the list of Notes, often does not reflect the changes I made to the text while the Note was in the "opened" state. Its as though there are two Notes - one with the text as it appears in the "opened" state, with the text modified, and another as the text appears in the closed state in the Notes list - without any of the modifications reflected in that text. How do I get the text of a note as it appears in the list of Notes to reflect the changes I made to that Note while it was in the opened state? Apparently it is not a "refresh" problem. Thanx.
