Michael

I used Explore to search a file. After it finished the
search it have asked me if I would like to speed up search
process by Indexing files. I clicked on it and since then
I am not able to boot up my PC with Windows XP.

Thanks for your help,

Michael.

Hi

Can you boot into Safe Mode and disable the Indexing Service? You can do this by going to Start>Run - and then typing in "services.msc" - without the quotes. Scroll down the list until you find 'Indexing Service', then right click on it and select 'stop'. Reboot back into XP in 'normal mode'.
