You simply won't be able to block all junk mail. It's a never-ending
battle. There are numerous anti-spam tools on the Internet (some of them
free) which will help, but none are fail-safe.

Brian.Tillman is the name, smiths-aerospace.com is the domain.

I don't speak for Smiths, and Smiths doesn't speak for me.

I agree. Outlook is an acceptable mail reader, but a very poor
spam-fighting tool.

But you do have choices. For most people it is more efficient if
their ISP does the blocking and I would complain to them first.

One method is DNSBL, or "block lists". Here is a link to a program
that some friends of mine use, and it includes an introduction to
DNSBL spam filtering:

http://www.spampal.org/

Another method is "Bayesian" filtering. This is a lot smarter than
just writing a filter that gets rid of email that mentions "Viagra"

Here's a not-too-technical description of what it does:

There is a Bayesian add-on for SpamPal, but I don't know anybody who
is using it.

I would suggest that you ask followup questions, if you can, on one of
these newsgroups (not carried by Microsoft):

alt.stop.spamming
news.admin.net-abuse.email
