No matter who I address my emails to I get a Systems
Administrator Message stating that the addressees email
address is not a Gateway!

This applies to emails sent to AOL, Hotmail, Yahoo and
many other email addresses.

This has suddenly started to happen and it occurs on all
my email accounts within MS Outlook!

I need to rectify this problem ASAP.

Is there anyone out there who can assist me? Please!

Many thanks

Richard

THis is the actual message receieved from the Systems
Administrator:

550 not local host vodafone.net, not a gateway

Have you tried configuring the e-mail account within Outlook so it
authenticates to your ISP's SMTP server (i.e., provides a username and
password)? To authenticate you can tell it to reuse the same username
and password as for the POP3 server (the first screen of the e-mail
account) or to specify separate username and password (even if the same
as for the POP3 server). Alternatively, you might try to enable the
"Log on to incoming server before sending" option.

I'll try your suggestions.

Many Thanks

Richard

Could you please quote the post you are replying to so we can all see the

Thank you.
