Norton Internet Security's blocking a shared printer

I'm trying to print to a shared printer on a W98 machine that's also running
Norton Internet Security. Unfortunately, Norton makes that impossible. Is
there a way to allow this to happen w/o disabling NIS every time I need to
print?

Alternatively, how can I get my XP Pro machine to access the printer through
NetBeui? That's how I had it previously until I upg to XP.

May want to try, click NIS, Personal Firewall, Configure, Networking, and
add the suggested subnet address into allow list.

May give you some clues and yes, call Symantec or read their manual.

Hope this will help.

It is very easy to do. Takes about 5 seconds to add the printer to the
trusted zone. I suggest your either contact Symantec, or better yet, RTFM.
That will you will LEARN how to do it.

Thanks all. What's RTFM?

My Internet Security is no longer supported cause it's 2001 version. But I
just got some info on their FAQ site which hopefully will work. Thanks for
your... fine suggestions.

Is it true that File Sharing with NetBeui is more secure than TCP/IP?
