I'm not sure if this is the right room to be in for this
question, so if anyone knows a better room, I'd
appreciate it.

Does anyone know how you stop all these Norton, "A remote
system is
attempting to access your computer" popups, while
maintaining security? Thanks in advance for any help

That would be in the "Reporting" tab of nortons firewall

you can adjust the "alert notifications" there.
