Hi Guys:
After having installed '2004 Norton AntiVirus,' I went to
see whether everything was OK. In my surprise, 'Auto-
Protect' was *Off.* Then, I did click 'Enable' box on
the right corner on the bottom. Afterwards, the
rectangular box appeared in the middle of the screen,
saying the following:
"Norton AntiVirus has encountered an Internal Program
error, along with "4002.5l7" on the left corner on the
bottom of the box.
Although I followed all instruction 'Live Update' to make
it 'On' but Auto-Protect is still "Off.'
My question is:
How am I able to make 'Auto-Protect' "On?'
Thanks for your help in advance.

I don't have 2004 yet, I still use NortonSystemworks 2003,
but you probably have to reinstall/repair Norton Antivirus.

Hi:
Thanks for your reply on this. After a visit
on 'Support' of SystemWorks and back forth on my attempts
to straighten things up, I did your your
suggestion, 'uninstall/reinstall' strategy. Finally, I
got I needed, the Auto-Protect is *On* now.
Many thanks for the time having read the post and
response on this.
