a balloon came up on the bottom of the screen saying"your
computer may be in danger" your anti-virus is not known"
I updated the anti-virus, but the message is still
coming up. I had Norton installed at Best But in March
when I purchased this emachine
What can I do now? THanks mary

Hi

If you are not able to get the Security Center to recognise Norton
fully:

Control Panel/Security Center, click on the "Change the Way
Security Center Notifies Me" link in the left pane.

For Norton 2004 products:

After installing XP Service Pack 2, the message "Your computer might
be at risk . . . " appears

As far as I know, Symantec haven't released an update for the 2003
products, only the 2004 version. Someone that just contacted Symantec
Support said that they was considering releasing an update for 2003
versions as well.

Several have reported that installing the 2004 WMI update on NAV
2003 works fine:
