Norton and administration

Posted part of this a few days ago. Thanks for the help
from those who responded. This is the second part of the
issue. When I installed Norton Internet Security all the
users defaulted to a status where I can't change them.
Symantec help says to logon as XP administrator and
uninstall. Can't do that other than in safe mode (log in
as administrator) and I can't change Norton in safe
mode. All my XP users are as computer administrator, but
Norton is not. I can't uninstall or change Norton in any
way. It is a Norton issue more than XP (Home Edition).
But before I go back to Symantec, does anyone have any
ideas how to overcome this issue?

Your best bet is to speak with Symantec/Norton Tech Support. Here is the

One thing you might try is a System Rollback / System Restore to a date
prior to installing Internet Security:
