I have been using Microsoft Office 2003 on my computer at work and just
recently I keep getting an error message asking me if I want to save changes
to "Normal". Why is it doing this and how can I fix it?
 
The message indicates that the Normal template has been modified. This is
perfectly normal if you have been changing things such as toolbars, keyboard
shortcuts, or AutoText entries, or if you have modified a style and checked
the "Add to template" option.

If you haven't been doing anything of the above, you should answer no to the
request on saving the template, as it could mean that malicious code are
trying to write changes to the template.
