Non working applications ?

I have quite a few of my applications not working correctly or not working
at all with Vista, like Incredimail and Total Commander. Wonder if there is
any hope that these may work with final Vista ?

You really need to ask the manufacturers if they will be bringing updates
out, many are.

Yes, you're right, it's a (so far) hidden cost of upgrading. Makes you
wonder if Vista was produced to please the software writers

Total Commander 6.55a works fine here. If you want to modify it's settings,
and have them hold for more than your current Total Commander session, you
must start Total Commander in "run as administrator" mode.

Many of the functions are limited when you start T/C normally. These include
file/folder access, creating | deleting | moving. This is in keeping with
the general security implications of Vista. Total Commander must follow
those rules.
