What is going on? I can barely keep my IE open now, with
a constant response of the progrma becoming "non
responding." I downloaded a free copy of Opera 7 because
of the all too frequent quitting of IE. This also
happens when I try to make changes in the Internet
Options boxes. I refer to this as a more general problem
because it occurs to some extent with other programs such
as Outlook. It is most notable in Outlook when I try to
click on trusted links in messages; then I get the same
NR response. I hate to give up IE. I have ru the
repair program from the CD. It did not really fix this
problem. Ideas? Is this is MS Windows problem? Or
could it be the computer (HP Media Center PC M370n)?

Ther's probably a library or driver file that's bombing.
When the error message pops up Write down the file it
references, from the details view and include that in the
post. Mark the text message of the box, then right click on
it and select copy. Open the notepad or wordpad and paste
this into the blank page and save. Then include that in the
post.

Try cleaning up the IE cookies and Tempfiles. Then cleanup
the drive, and defrag. The to a maintenance install/removal
from uninstall box (repair IE) active desktop is a part of
IE that is integrated with windows. If you have low memory
(256Mb and below) that can be a part of the problem.
