Non openning pop up windows

Just recently my W2k machine running IE6 has stopped
opening legit pop up windows from trusted and known
sites. The window tries to open but the info doesn't
load - all I get is a blank white screen.

Anybody any ideas please?
 
if you go to add/remove programs and down to IE ... it
will give you an option to repair IE ... might work/might
not ... but it can't hurt.
