History: I replaced Windows ME with XP (using a non-
internet ps/2 keyboard at time of OS installation).
(The tower was sent to a different location to install
the XP OS).
When I received the computor back, and connected all the
hardware back up to it, my USB internet keyboard would
not respond (no functioning keys, nothing).
I replaced the keyboard with a PS/2 keyboard, and it now
works, but I would like to use my internet keyboard (It
is a Compaq internet keyboard).
What must I do to get it up and running?
P.S. I tried to use a USB/PS/2 adaptor on my internet
keyboard, but that does not work, either.

Run Windows Update to see if you need SP1. SP1 fixes a
number of USB problems.

You might need to use the device manager to remove the USB
hubs and let them be re-detected.
