Have win xp, sp2. In my computer shows my "D" drive, "E" drive, which are
my dvd player and dvd/cd writer. But also shows "G" drive, but I only have
the 2. No big deal, just wondering why its there and if can get rid of it.
Thanks

It could be a flash card reader in your computer or printer, or MP3
player, or USB flash memory. There are a few other possibilities.

Have you partitioned your hard drive?
You could also go to Disk management, see how it is described there.
Administrative tools, Computer management, Disk management is in there.
