non-Contact email addresses

I hope this is an idiot question!

Where does Outlook 2003 store email addresses that are not associated with
Contacts entries and how do I get at them? I know they're there because they
appear in the drop-down autofill thingy that shows when I type an email
address into the 'To:' field.

Thanks, Sue. Not exactly user friendly, is it, but I'v extracted what I was
looking for.

You may have been asking because you wanted to delete some?

open a compose screen, type in the annoying name in the 'To' field, cursor
down to select it, hit the delete key, tab to the next field. Poof! Gone!
