No sure if anyone knows about this but I'll give it a go.

On a DELL desktop system I have install Nokia Data Suite 6.03 using a USB
cable for connectivity and when I open Nokia Audio Manager and click on add
in music studio and select a mp3 to transfer to phone it gives me a
ntdll.dll error and when I sometimes even open Nokia Audio Manager I get a
msxml4.dll error or msvcrt.dll error and then the program closes, just
opened it and did a transfer first thing this morning and it worked 100%
just the once only, but every other part of the program works ok :-(

I rang the Nokia helpdesk and they said it was because I have SP-2 installed
and it is not supported yet, so I formatted my hdd and installed XP with
SP-1 to find I was getting the msxml4.dll error and not the ntdll.dll error
message like I was with SP-2

I have the same setup on my toshiba notebook and that works ok, so I don't
think it is an issue with SP-2 but maybe device drivers, who know's

Every OEM computer is different. There isn't an easy way to know
how the manufacturer has customized Windows XP. It could be a
driver issue or some other system level component on the Dell.
Many 3rd party applications aren't updated for Service Pack 2.
They are slowly releasing updates and patches to correct issues.

Just remember that phone Tech Support has only one mandate, to
mark your call as closed and resolved. They will shuffle blame, etc
or whatever they can think up Whenever they mention Uninstall or
Re-install - Hang up the phone or ask to be elevated to the next tier
support person. Dell is currently teaching their Bangalore contractors
to speak with American accents, Apparently, technical skills don't
matter but hiding the foreign employee's accents does.

Well I decided to strip my pc back to nothing by doing a format and
reinstallation of XP SP-1 with nothing but the OS installed, then updated
all my device drivers and applied SP-2 and all worked fine until I installed
the Microsoft.Net Framework 1.1 then it started giving me the msxml4.dll
error and not the ntdll.dll it gave me before so I removed the .Net software
and restarted and it worked fine, so I booted back into my other XP
partition where I was having the problems and removed .Net and still can not
get it to work. I am positive this .Net software is causing it?
