My computer came without an XP CD (I have the home
edition), but it did come with this partition (D drive)
thingy. How do I reinstall XP from this arrangement? Is
there a way to make a CD from what is on the D drive? I
have seem some discussion of this, but in langauge way to
high tech. I would like to reinstall XP over my current
installation and see if that fixes all of the gremlins. I
did try running "restore" but I get a message every time
telling me that it cannot restore and to try again. I
don't understand how I could be sold a computer with no
way of reinstalling the operating system.
Any ideas? (all replies in kindergarden level computer
speak please!)
