no windows updates after a clean install of windows

I have two computers doing the same thing. I have
installed windows xp. I go to do the updates and they say
no updates to install. I know this is not true any one
havee any ideas?

Hello!
To get the updates to re-appear and/or to be listed as
available again.
Go to Start/Run/CMD and type in:
del /q "%SystemRoot%\System32\Catroot2\Edb.log. Then try
again.
