No User Account Picture

Hi, I do not have a display picture for my user account
although i have one selected within the user accounts
options ?! WHen you click on the start menu at the bar on
the top it only shows my user name !

Any ideas please ?!

Is the Welcome Screen enabled? If already enabled and the problem is seen, try this:

Type regsvr32 shimgvw in RUN box and restart. If the problem persist, see if you have the user account pictures intact in this folder:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\User Account Pictures\Default Pictures
