I get intermittent "No transport provider available ..." I've spent time researching other posts and it doesn't seem like anyone knows why this happens. I've checked the signature for http:, checked profiles, retyped addresses instead of copy/paste. I have seen at least 50 other posts with no responses to them. I wonder if mine will be the same. If anyone has had this message and has actually been able to resolve it I would really appreciate hearing from you :)

Thank you

I have seen that many times myself. In all cases it
appeared that the outgoing server at the ISP failed to
respond fast enough (or not at all)and OL timed out. Each
time I have had that occur, another attempt at
Send/Receive a few minutes later went fine. I have always
blamed it on the ISP in my mind, not OL.

What's in the profile? Note that Exchange & Internet Mail in the same
profile isn't supported in OL2000 and prior and will usually cause this
error.

Do you mean in the Mail icon in the Control Panel - if I click Show
Profiles I see only one item - Microsoft Outlook Intenet settings.
Or do you mean all of the settings within that profile?

Yes - I mean what's IN that profile.
