No Tasks or calendar items displayed

Outlook is not currently displaying any of my active tasks or appointments,
Is there some setting that needs to be changed to display them or is it a bug
that there is a patch for. anyones help would be appreciated

What View are you using and in which folder(s) are you looking? Also, what
Outlook version?
