I have a PC running the latest XP Pro, Office 2003 and IE6. Recently,
when opening pages containing javascript that use the call window.open
I am receiveing the error message "No such interface supported".

I have checked on the Microsoft Knowledge base and only found one
reference to this error but that was for IE4.

Can anyone help me out with this annoying problem?

Thanks in advance

Rusty

Hi Hans,

I have just downloaded and installed Microsoft Script 5.6 for XP.
unfortunately this made no difference. I am still experiencing the
error 'No such interface supported'.

Any more ideas would be appreciated.

Rusty,

I encountered this issue with a microsoft access data access page. Al
but one of the computers on my network were able to access this page
It ended up being that the MDAC (Microsoft Data Access Connector -
Believe)component on the workstation was either outdated or corrupt.
installed the latest version of MDAC (from the Microsoft web site) an
I had no problems accessing the page I needed to get to.
