No Spell Check Option

I upgraded my computer to Windows 2000 Professional with IE6 and Outlook Express 6. But now I don't have the spell checking option in Word, and the "spelling" button in my Outlook isn't highlighted so I'm unable to spell check my email messages. Please let me know how to fix this

You can click "Tools" > Spelling & Grammar to access it or press the F7
function key on your keyboard. Its also probably hidden away, if you see two
little arrows on the tool bar looking like this >> click it to reveal more
options.
