no sound

hi guys i am new to this .I have recently upgraded to xp professional. but i get no audio .as anybody got any ideas ? I have tried different things. I would appreciate any help thanks

Hi,Go to admin tools>services in control panel and see

if "windows audio" is set to automatic,if not then set it
to that,if it is enabled then perhaps this link will be

i recently upgraded tp windowsxp pro now i have no sound help

try reinstall your audio drivers that is in your directories in your XP cd
