no sound

Up until yesterday, I had all sounds. Now, my computer tells me that there is
no audio device. I tried the microsoft troubleshooter stuff for about 1.5
hours, to no avail. I have an ATI Technologies, Inc. 3d Rage Pro AGP 2x sound
card.

How can I fix this?
Please help.
 
Try to Restore your system to a couple of days back. You can go back up
to 90 days.
Start/All Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Restore
