No sound?

Ive downloaded the right hardware and sound devide for
my computer but right at the end of installation it asks
for the windows 98 cd, i put it in and then it can't
locate the file.

Does it really?! That's just too bad. One thing puzzles me though - if you
have 98 why are you postijng in a *Windows XP* group?!

problem No Sound, been told it could be due to volume card
problems. get back if you wouldn1t mind passing on any
help.

And, don't tell me, you have 98 too?! Then why in Hades are you here - just
