No Sound from 3D-Pinball

Help - I have no sound for 3-D pinball (yes, sound is on). If I go into
program files/window NT/pinball all the wav files play fine with windows
media player, yet the game still has not sound. I've tried turning off all
non-essentials in start-up and rebooted, yet still no sound. Any idea?

See if running the edit on Kelly's site helps, line 336, "Pinball -
Restore" at: http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm

Read the top of the page for information about using the edit.

Yes the sounds are enabled. I've tried turning them on and off hundreds of
times with no luck. Thanks for the try.

I tried the Kelly's "Pinball Restore". Same problem still - no sound. I've
also noticed that my Quiken no longer has sound. Don't know if they're
related. Other software sound works fine (i.e. games, web-radio, dvd's,
CD's, etc.). Any suggestions always appreciated.
