No Sound,2

I recieve this error message,Windows cannot find the file %system root
%\media\windows xp error.wav.Does anyone know the fix?
 
You may not see a fix for your specific error msg. this is a general
troubleshooting help guide,the first step that I would try under "where did
my sounds go" would be to run the "fix the ding wave file" and reboot. If
that was of no help I would go down the list.
