No signal when getting mail from Hotmail

I use outlook 2002 to get mails from hotmail, but I don't get any signal
from outlook when a new mail arrive. Anyone who knows why?

Since MOOL not avaible in Sweden, where I live, is there any other way to
get outlook to give notification, or in any other way get a signal, when I
get a new mail at may hotmail account. Outlook gives a notification of new
mails when I start outlook but not whne sending and recieving.

But why do Outlook express give signal and not outlook???
