No shutdown screen XP Pro

Hello,

I have recently installed XP pro on an old machine. The machine has an AT
power supply and I have to physically turn it off at the front. When I
select "Turn Off" the machine resets and reboots. I don't get the "Its not
safe to turn off your computer" message. Is there a way I can switch this
facility on?
