No "Server" service listed in services

WinXP sp1
I had stopped the 'Server' Service manually but left it to
start automatically at startup. Rebooted. I go back to
services later, and there is no Server service listed. I
tried: net start server, net start Server, net
start "Server". Rebooted and tried all that in safe
mode. Error message is: The service name is invalid.

Any idea how to get it
found/started/reinstalled/reconfigured?

In the properties of the Server service, I found the
following path for the Server service:

C:\WINDOWS\System32\svchost.exe -k netsvcs
