Hi, folks,
I have a shared workbook in Excel 2002 (10.4302.4219) SP-2
consisting of three sheets, one of which has 268 rows and
about 35 columns. Another user made approximately 250
changes to the main sheet since I shared it, and I want to
view those changes.
When I try the usual technique for highlighting all
changes (either highlighting them in the sheets or
creating a new sheet with the changes or both), I get a
message "Excel cannot complete this task with available
resources. Choose less data or close other applications."
So I choose less data. I filter by date, and I can see
the last 20 or so changes. That's helpful. Then I try to
highlight changes only for a small area of the worksheet
(only one row) and it fails with the same message!
Since the same user likely made all the changes over the
course of two days, can you think of another workaround?
TIA,
Jim
