No Protection between Password Protected Accounts

Hi,

I had a number of accounts on my home PC, with some being password
protected - so that not everyone could see each others personal files.

The other day for no reason that I know of, everyone can now see each others
personal files (in "Documents and Settings").

If you initially select a password protected account, you still have to put
in the correct password, but once in, you can see everything. If you select
a non password protected account, once in, you can see everything (without
having to enter any passwords at any time).

I have tried creating new accounts (of all combinations of limited,
administrator, password and none password protected), but once you are
logged in as one user, you can see every file of ever user.

Each user still has their personal profiles and nothing else seems to have
changed.

Any Ideas, Anybody Please ??????????.

I am using XP home.
Will upgrading to XP Pro, clean up this problem or will it just migrate to
XP Pro ?????
I know that XP Pro has EFS, but will that work with my circimstances ????

Buggered if I know.

My undieing appreciation to anyone who can HELP.

Frustrated Al

Do you have your hard disk formatted in NTFS as opposed to FAT ?. If
not then all users are browsable. For full security between users you
need to convert to NTFS ,others may know more!!

My problem is just the opposite. I, as the administrator, want to see all documents and files on all accounts. I'd like to know what I need to do that.
