Until a couple of days ago, when I attached my digital camera or USB pen drive, a window whould open up and ask me what I would like to do with these files. The prompt window no longer appears. However, i can go to "my computer" and see the camerea and open it that way. Could someone point my in the right direction to get this default prompt window to appear again???

In Windows Explorer, right-click on the drive letter. Click
PROPERTIES|AUTO PLAY tab, and make the choice there.

If it doesn't work, see Kelly's site, linked below, for extensive auto
play info.

That happened to me also. I did a go back to beyond the last security
update about 10 days ago if I remember correctly, from Microsoft and then
reinstalled the security update. After that it worked.

When looking at the autoplay tab of the camera or usb drive...prompt for action is ticked of on the bottom...I'm stumped
