NO POWER TO ANYTHING, EXCEPTTHE LITTLE RED LIGHT

MORE INF ON THIS PROBLEM,,,THIS A.M. COMP. WORKED FINE, I TOOK IT TO A DIF LOCATION SO I COULD BARROW INTERNET CONNECTION, WHEN I PLUGGED IN POWER NOTHING HAPPEND EXCEPT THE LITTLE RED LIGHT CAME ON MY MOTHER BRD..HAS ANY BODY HAD SIM PROBLEM?????????????????????????????? PLS HELP I'M NEW AND NO NOTRHING BUT I'M TRYING.... SYSTEM IS 2.4 GIG P-4 INTEL 865GLC M B MAXTOR 80 G. HARDDRV W/ DUAL DDR400 EVERYTHING IS NEW. THANX
 
Did you accidently knock the power switch on the back of the case to off
when carrying it? I've done it many times.
 
If the video card a separate and not part of the motherboard the card could
have lifted slightly so you need to be sure it is fitted securely. When the
motherboard light comes on does the processor fan start at all i.e. spin
then stop or spin up and continue.??

Guys Im having the same problem, but you guys are talking a little above mt head. Could someone explain?

Check the power supply and all connectors (cpu fan) on your MB are tight. any beeps heard? usually the fan will run and the post will halt on the video card however your fan is not even running, check the power supply if still nothing, reset the CMOS jumper so your BIOS are reset. Try to power up.
