No Playback of cretain Video files

Hellllllpp!! When I burn a certain video file to CD-R, it doesn't play in my DVD player! It's a .wmv file!! Shouldn't it play?? My DVD player is compatable with many formats. It plays all other videos I burned to CD-R (even on the same CD-R!!!) but, not that particular one) Please Help!! I know that the video is on the disc because it plays (from the disc) on my computer! But my DVD player over looks it as though it's not there!! PLease, Please help!!!

we need a bit more info regarding the dvd player type and number, and also the compression format of the video.
To find out the format of the video goto
http://gspot.headbands.com
open the video file in the program and it will tell you the codec the video needs to play.
Then go to
http://www.dvdrhelp.com
and do a search for your dvd player and it should tell you what types of video play on it.
