No Pictures in recieved email

When I get a advertisement from a company the pictures
show up as a box with a X in the right corner. When I
reply to the message you will see the advertisement. I us
word as my editor. Is there something I am missing?
 
Yes, you are missing telling us the version of Outlook.

If you turn off Word and use Outlook Rich Text Format or HTML, do you get
the pictures?

in outlook click tools.... options security...and click the button that says
change automatic download settings and you might want to uncheck those
boxes...
no I do not!!!
