After upgrading from Windows ME to XP I purchased and installed Microsoft Word 2000. It works well except for one problem. A Microsoft word icon does not appear the “create new†menu. When I right click and choose NEW (from the desktop or anywhere else) there appear a number of options, including Text Document, Folder & etc but no option to create a Microsoft Word document. This option existed when I had my last edition of MS2000 on ME and as you can understand its absence is really inconvenient. For this menu is certainly the easiest way to create new documents. Is there anything I can do to correct this. I have already tried the Repair option. Thanks in advance for any advice.
