no option for 'Windows XP style" in Display Properties

Display Properties > Appearance > Windows and buttons only gives me the
option of Windows Classic style. Windows XP style is not listed at all.

Any help would be appreciated.

Is the Themes service started?

Click Start, Run and type Services.msc
Double-click Themes
Set the Startup type to "Automatic"
Start the service.

If that does not help, download the original LUNA theme from here:
