Sean

I just updated to WinXPE SP2B from WinXPE SP1. But when I opened the
Component Database Manager->Component->Choose Windows XP Embedded
Client (x86) Service Pack 2 Package [Version1, R7], but there are 0
components inside.
Does anybody know why there are no new components in SP2B?

Sean,

It is full of components for me here (Service Pack 2 Package).
Just in case check/lower your Tools min.visibility level.

KM,
When was Service pack 2 released?

Regards,

Sean Gahan

It's in Beta, this discussion belongs in the appropriate SP2 Beta newsgroup
to avoid confusion.

Hi Andy,

SP2 Beta newsgroup? Sorry, I haven't heard of the newsgroup. Could you send us a link to the newsgroup?
I only know microsoft.public.windowsxp.beta where they talk a little bit about the SP2 but it is not embedded specific group.

Thanks,

there's a link to it from the Betaplace web page where you download the bits
and report bugs. Use the account name and password assigned to you in order
to access it, the same account used to access betaplace will be able to
access the beta.xpesp2 NG as well.

Hi KM
Thanks. I lower the Min Visibility to 100 and I saw 1284 components in the SP2 and 228 components in SP1 package. Did you see the same number on your machine
Thank
Sean

Got it (it does not work now - can't reset the newsgroup list, as I just changed the password, but I hope it will work in 24 hours).
Thanks, Andy.

For me the numbers are a little bit different: SP1 - 244, SP2 - 1309.
But I got MinVisibility set to 1 (to see the legacy NTe stuff).
