Hello i have some problems, first i taught it was a virus or a prankster but now i'm guessing it's a fault in my xp. Every time i start up two windows pop up ons saying "no modF" the other sais "funk". The last few days i also get a we found new hardware (my modem withch is internal!) so i'm guessing some thing is wrong and now I'm thinking it might have something to do with a fatal error i had and needed my xp cd (i was at home and all my cds are at my place) so i wasn't able to fix it

kan some one help

(if i remember correctly it said in the taskbar acutility or some thing like that

thank yo

dino

Hi Dino,

ok the window in the tast bar sais actulice

maybe this helps a bit

To solve the "actulice" problem:
1) Go to "start"
2) Click "run"
3) Type in "msconfig"
4) Click "OK"
5) Click on "Startup" tab
6) Find "pg4ds32m" in the list
7) Uncheck its box
8) Restart your computer

Good luck

I have had the same problem as Dino. I have followed your instructions but could not find a file "pg4ds32m"

Also I have been unable to access windows media player since this pop up appeared. Are the two connected?

Try performing a spyware using ad-aware and spybot. Download them,
update them and run them.
The pop-up may interfer with Windows Media Player.
Also try going to Start > Run > msconfig
startup tab and disable any suspicious item.

Yeha g'day i'm having the same problem. Though my problem is further in
that i cannot access either msconfig or windows task manager. I think this
actulice has got a firm grasp of my computer's short and curlies. Would
appreciate any help. Cheers Jordo

Creates usable copies of regedit, msconfig and task manager, which you
can use to troubleshoot. Be sure to perform a scan looking for viruses
using updated definitions and a scan looking for malware using updated
ad-aware and spybot:

Hi again, thanks for that link, i think i have managed to get rid of the
acutlice pop up. But... I still haven't regained access to msconfig, task
manager and regedit. Any possible solutions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks again, Jordo.
