no modem

logan i had windows 98, i installed windows xp home, everything went fine, i went in to establish my internet connection, and it says i dont have a modem, in fact i dont have any icons except for the trash bin, can i get window off and return back to win 98 or can this be fixed so that i can use xp home thanks in advance
 
How many times did you actually post this problem anyway??
Call the Manufacturer of the computer and complain to them for awhile.

Hi jimd,

Did you use the Hardware Wizard to see if the modem is compatible with
XP?

What is the name and brand of the modem?

Try to go to the modem manufacturer's web site and download the XP
drivers, burn them to CD and install them in the troublesome computer.

How did you solve your modem problem? My computer did the exact same thing. Please help if you can
