No macro recording dialog box

When I record a macro, I no longer get the macro recording
dialog box. I can stop the macro from tools/macro/stop
recording. However without the dialog box I cannot choose
relative reference. I use to have this box.
 
Hi Steve!

Right click any toolbar.
Select Customize.
On the Toolbars Tab, scroll down and check Stop Recording.
Close.

If you are recording a macro and use the "X" to close the
toolbar instead of using the blue stop button, the toolbar
will no longer appear.
