No LPT1 port printing capability after XP pro install

I am having a no print problem after installing XP pro SP1 from LPT1 with parellel connection from HP printers (2000Cse & (32C). I have removed all print drivers & re-installed. I have removed LPT1 port & re-installed. 2000Cse has parellel port only and ultimate need to be able use and print from parellel. Deskjet 732 with & to USB connection prints fine.

Are you using XP printer drivers.. go to www.hp.com if you are not..

I did pulled down HP drivers from HP site for both 2000cse and 932C. HP sites shows 2000Cse compatible for XP but only provide an update driver up to WIN 2000. Have downloaded this driver also to no avail. Still printless with 2000cse.
