No longer forwarding?

HelpPls

I noticed something [new] strange the other day. All my clients are able to
surf the web and resolve names, however I am not able to ping out by name,
only ip. My clients DNS settings are correct and point to my internal
server and I have forwarding enabled on my internal DNS server. When I
manually ADD an external DNS server as a secondary DNS server, all is fine
and I am able to ping by name again. Any ideas? Also, I am behind an ISA
2000 firewall.

You probably have a DNS-ISA configuration problem. I know ISA is real
sensitive and picky about getting its DNS settings just right...
If you type NSLOOKUP at a command prompt, to which DNS server do you connect
to? (when you only have internal DNS servers setup)
And if you actually hook up to your internal DNS server, can you look up
anything on the internet from NSLOOKUP?
